Homemade Hummus
Ingredients:
1 can chickpeas
3 cloves garlic
1/3 cup tahini
2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/3 cup parsley
salt and pepper
Directions:
Drain and rinse can of chickpeas.
Add chickpeas to the food processor.
Add garlic, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt and pepper.
Pulse all ingredients in the food processor until a smooth hummus forms.
If you want a smoother hummus, continue to add olive oil at 1.5 tsp intervals. If you do not want to add more oil, you can use water instead to get that smoother texture (olive will help the taste).
Plate the hummus, and top with some more salt, pepper, parsley, and olive oil. Enjoy!
